Pros and cons of FM PRO Mobile app for iPhone and iPad

FM PRO Mobile app good for

Love this app. Easy to use. Keeps accurate record of our inputs and field data. Works great on the iPhone Saves a lot of time recording data on the fly.
It works pretty well. It would be nice if you could input multiple fields with the same inputs all at once instead of one at a time.
Used the previous app for Windows and Palm. Not a fan of the first couple versions on my iPhone but has made good progress on features in the last few updates.

Some bad moments

Users need to have Field Manager Pro for their desktop ($499) with a service plan ($199) to use this app. GIS version adds another $699 to upgrade to FMPro 360 and service plan goes to $399 (if I read the FCC site correctly). Multiple users means multiple purchases of the app (again, if I read this properly). Kind of important info to know before purchasing.
This is a terrible app. Hard to use, there is just no flow to this app. Dont waist your time and money like I did, just stick to your pen and note pad. Hopefully you didnt waist your money on the desktop version. I have no idea who designs these programs. Did FCC not talk to any farmers before creating this huge pile of garbage. I would like my money back please.
What a waste this app is. I have been with the desktop version of this program since 1996 that was before FCC owned it. It was called settler agexpert. Back then you could use a hand held palm to sync with desktop. A very good program and worked well on hand held. Then they did away with the palm and went to window base phone I believe. I staid with the palm till it died. Then just desktop for a few years now. Then got Iphone to be able to use this app and paid the service fee to up grade my desktop version. Just to find this joke of an app. List of problems #1 only this crop year on iphone #2 very hard to enter information not good lay out #3 if you do same operation on multiple fields you have to enter all information for each field #4 have to be sure crop year is set on desktop for this year. I made that mistake was checking what I did to a field last year and did not reset it and did a sync few days later all my information on iphone gone!!! Call tec support 5 days later still no answer. #5 tech support very poor if any. They always give you the "I have to talk to someone to get answer" and thats where it stays. #6 if you drop a field good luck getting it of this system. It can be done but will take an hour #7 have to Carrie pen and paper to right notes if it loses you information or check desktop everyday Now the good It will lighten the pocket book with purchase of program plus yearly fees. #2 likely a new iphone after you break yours after it loss you records. I am going to printing off my 20 years of field records off the program and finding one that works.
